Laser Resurfacing
- Laser resurfacing is performed using a beam of laser
energy which vaporizes the upper layers of the skin. In
many cases facial wrinkles are localized in specific
areas around the mouth and eyes. The laser can target
these areas and precisely control the resurfacing. After
the laser surgery the face will have a more youthful
appearance. This procedure is performed in the office.
The patient may return to work in 10-14 days. The redness
may last 6-12 weeks.

Facelift
A facelift (Rhytidectomy) can improve sagging facial
skin and loose neck skin. A facelift may be combined with a brow
lift or eyelid surgery, depending on your desired results. The
patient's face will appear firmer and fresher giving the patient
a younger appearance.
Procedure:
- The incision is made along the hairline and around the
ear. The loose skin is then pulled up and backward, and
the excess skin is removed. The surgery usually takes 2-4
hours and is performed in an operating room and requires
an overnight stay.
Side Effects:
- Tempory skin discoloration, tightness and numbness in the
face and neck. Also temporary bruising, swelling and
tenderness.
Recovery:
- Back to work 10-14 days. More stenuous activity after 2
weeks. Healing is gradual, expect several months for
complete healing and optimal results.
Fees:
- $10,000 and up.

Forehead/Browlift

Forehead/Browlift is a surgical procedure performed to reduce
the forehead creases, drooping eyebrows and eyelid tissues. The
surgery usually takes 1-2 hours.
Procedure:
- An incision is made across the scalp a few inches behind
the hairline. The forehead skin is gently pulled upward
and any excess skin and wrinkles are removed. Procedure
is performed in an operating room as an outpatient.
Side Effects:
- Temporary bruising, swelling, numbness, and headaches.
Recovery:
- Back to work 7-10 days. More strenuous activity 2-3
weeks. Bruising may last 2-3 weeks, sun exposure limited
for several months.

Eyelid Surgery

Eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) can give the face a
more youthful appearance by correcting drooping eyelids and puffy
bags below the eyes. Since the eyes are the focal point of the
face, this surgery can brighten the patient's face and improve
their overall appearance. This procedure usually takes 1-2 hours.
Procedure:
- This surgical procedure involves making incisions along
the natural contour lines in the upper and lower eyelids.
Excess skin is removed along with the fatty deposits that
cause the bags and puffiness. This procedure may be done
with a laser and can be performed in an office surgery
suite as an outpatient.
Side Effects:
- Swelling, bruising, sensitivity to light, excess tearing
or dryness.
Recovery:
- Back to work in 7-10 days. Reading 2-3 days, more
strenuous activity 3 weeks. Swelling and bruising 2-3
weeks. Patient may need someone to stay with them for the
first couple post-op days in case of the moderate
swelling.

Surgery of the Nose

Surgery of the nose (Rhinoplasty) can reshape your nose
in numerous ways to improve its appearance and overall facial
appearance. Most patients often elect to reduce/increase the size
and shape of the nose, remove a hump, or narrow the span between
the nostrils. The surgery usually takes 1-2 hours or more.
Procedure:
- Incisions are made on the inside of the nose and between
the nostrils to allow access to the cartilage and bone.
The bones and cartilage are contoured to improve the
shape of the nose.
Side Effects:
- Temporary swelling, bruising and headaches. There may
also be some bleeding and stuffiness.
Recovery:
- Back to work 1-2 weeks. More stenuous activity 2-3 weeks.
Allow at least 1 year to obtain a final appearance.

Botox

Botox is a simple, non-surgical procedure that smoothes the deep, persistent
lines between your brows.
Procedure:
- A few tiny injections relaxes the muscles that cause the lines to
form and keeps them relaxed for up to 4 months.

- Possible slight temporary bruising at the injection site.
Recovery:
- Most patients return to work or normal activity immediately
following the treatment.
